Butter cake

250g butter
6oz caster sugar
6oz plain flour
2 teaspoon baking powder
½ - 1 teaspoon vanilla essence
3 - 4 eggs
2 – 3 tablespoon milk

Method:
1. Cream butter & sugar on high
2. Beat in eggs, add vanilla essence
3. On very slow speed, add in flour
4. Add some milk
5. Put in baking dish and bake @ 325F / 150c for 30 – 45 mins
